Meet Dr. Brett Benson

Doctor Brett Benson has been providing exceptional dental care to patients since 1989. He graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry, followed by four years at the University of Iowa Dental School, where he received his D.D.S.

Practicing in Chandler and in Gilbert, Dr. Benson has continued his dental journey by taking many continuing education courses to expand his treatment options for patients. Among the advanced training he has received, Dr. Benson has completed multiple courses in orthodontic treatment; he has also received extensive training in placing implants, which he has been offering to patients since 1999.

Dr. Benson’s dream of becoming a dentist started as early as the 9th grade. His passion for dentistry is evident as he takes the time to educate his patients about their oral health, in terms they can understand, helping them to transform their smiles and build confidence. “I place value on getting to know those I treat, and personalizing their care,” said Dr. Benson. “In this way, they see me as a partner with them in the process.”

Growing up in a military family (his father served in the Air Force), Dr. Benson has lived in Michigan (where he was born), the Philippines, Germany, Texas, Iowa, and Arizona. He is married to Arizona native Danell Benson and has two sons and one daughter. In addition to spending time with family, he enjoys camping, fishing, reading, and cooking.
